Downtown Ithaca, known as “the commons,” hosts two seasonal food festivals, Apple Fest and Chili Fest. I went to Apple Fest last year and had so much fun that I just had to go back again. Many local restaurants set up stands and serve foods with an apple twist. Apple cider doughnuts, apple pizza, apple soup, apple crisp, the list goes on! They also have music, crafts, and wine stands from our local Finger Lakes vineyards.
